Which teg ECU is the right ECU for ZC

uuuhhh...I dont know. its a pm7. I'd go w/ the one that's not the cali one...cali's got stricter restrictions, so whatever it is, its worse

i've got a pm7 that i used with my ZC swap before i went with the B16, name a price
its for sale, i also have a set of HYBRID axels for sale, never used. You can mate an 88-91 Si tranny to the stock DX hubs. Its much easier than swapping out the hubs.

The ECU from an 88-89 teg 5sp will work. I have never heard of Canadian/Federal or California cars having a different ECU.

And B16ED4G, I have done several ZC swaps into DX cars and we never had to change hubs or use hybrid axles. DX or Si trannys and axles are interchangeable, its the HF and base cars you need to swap out the hubs.

on my 89 DX hatchback, the hubs were different, just stating from my experience
I used the DX hubs with hybrid axels on a stock ZC spraying a 70 shot of nitrous, held up great until I broke the tranny.

the base model hubs only have one or two fewer splines on them than the Si ones, not a big difference
I think you would be ok using hybrid axels rather than changing your hubs.

okay guys, you got me totally lost??? What's a hybrid axel? y won't my base model axels work? and.... oh no i thought i had everything under control.

I better get my act together if i want the engine in by March 1st.

have you been to the hybrid honda site?
it you have and it sounds like you do a civic standard....4spd trans..no extras
gas saver then i would recomend changing the hubs to a dx or si style...the reason being the hubs on a std. model are fit for a smaller axler than used in the other types
of civics...the brakes were the same from a dx please note...someone told me they were diff. but they are not...hybrid axles make use of an outer joint that will bolt up to your current hubs and mate it to a inner joint that fits into which ever trans. u choose to use. the problem ocures when you try to replace the axle for what ever reason you have to have another made. when if you had switched the hubs it is easier and cheaper to find an axle. any integra axle will work but i would still recomend for hi horses having new axles....i use raxles thanks to "perfectionist" i haven't had a prob yet...

I have a base model 90 h/b and the axle's are diffrent. You can get brand new axle's from Advanced auto where I work for like 65$ a piece, if you live near one. They work real well I have had mine for 6 months with out any problems.
